winter storm, yosemite valley, yosemite national park, california, 1995

first in a series of images taken in the most beautiful location on earth, yosemite national park. i first visited the park around 1976 at the age of 7, and was fortunate to spend the entire summer of 1979 at camp wawona while my dad did maintenance for the camp.

this view of the valley, just a short walk from the tunnel view parking area, was taken as a february storm blew through, dusting the higher peaks with snow.
